NIH Final Data Management and Sharing Policy: Hands-On Practice
Have you heard about the NIH’s new policy, and are not sure where to get started?  This class will take an example research project at IU and demonstrate a workflow for using existing institutional resources to design and write an NIH-compliant Data Management & Sharing (DMS) Plan.

 Learning Objectives

  • Identify relevant questions to ask about the scientific data you plan to generate.
  • Understand how to use IU/IUPUI resources to direct you to answers for those questions.
  • Practice composing an NIH DMS plan in an NIH-compliant format.

Accommodations:  If you require accommodations, please send an email to medlref@iu.edu with the title and date of the class and the accommodations needed.  We will make every effort to assist you in the amount of time given.
