Software Carpentry (Two-Day Workshop) Online
A two-day beginner-friendly workshop covering foundational programming skills for research computing. Attendees will learn to navigate a command-line interface, version control with git, and programming with Python for clinical research data analysis. No prior coding experience is necessary. Tuesday & Wednesday, February 13 - 14, 2024, 9am - 5pm.
Learning Objectives
- Learn methods for navigating directories and automating repetitive tasks through the shell
- Create a GitHub repository to learn how and why to perform version control tasks
- Build a Google Collaboratory notebook covering the fundamentals of analyzing tabular data in Python
