Introduction to Systematic Reviews Online

This class is an introduction to the process of conducting systematic reviews of the literature which are reproducible evidence synthesis.  Topics will include the following:  developing a research question, determining where to search, identifying search terms, establishing a sound methodology, registering a protocol, reporting search strategies, and managing references.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define a systematic review and distinguish it from other types of reviews.
  • List several organizations that provide standards for systematic reviews
  • Describe the steps involved in conducting a systematic review

All library classes will be streamed live via Zoom, https://iu.zoom.us/j/98587477406. If there are no attendees online, classes will be cancelled 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
